Fashion Design Contest
Win a scholarship and showcase your design on a runway - Apply by June 1, 2010
The Design Your Future/Diseña Tu Futuro competition, presented by Gap Inc. and the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is open to students enrolled in a fashion design program at a HACU-member institution.
Five finalists will be selected to compete for scholarships and showcase their designs at a fashion runway to take place at a Student Track during HACU’s 24th Annual Conference, September 18-20, 2010, at Hilton San Diego Bayfront, San Diego, CA.
Entry Deadline is June 1, 2010, notification of selection will be sent at the end of June.
FINALISTS WILL RECEIVE:
Paid travel accommodations to the annual conference.
A scholarship award ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, to be determined in the final round.
An article with photos published in The Voice of Hispanic Higher Education, which will highlight the competition. Published by HACU.
ENTRIES:
To enter the contest, students must submit an online application, an illustration of their suit design (appropriate for a job interview) and supporting documentation by June 1, 2010.
