Description: Assistant Designer- Women’s and Men’s Sportswear/Outerwear

Job Responsibilities Include:
Researching seasonal color, print, fabric, styling and silhouette trends Creation and communication of concepts and sketches through visual presentations
Creating hand-drawn and computer-drawn technical and stylized flats
Maintaining design and development timelines
Organizing and maintaining sample garment and swatch archives
Color correction photo masking for annual catalog development
Preparing and styling photoshoots as needed
Traveling to work annual mid-January WESA market
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design
Interested in designing both men’s and women’s apparel
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Basic knowledge of fabrication, print styles, color and silhouettes
Sharp eye for design, sense of proportion, attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
Maintains positive attitude when working under time constraints & challenges
